Flying Bird · Android
Privacy policy
Effective October 4, 2026. This policy explains what happens to information when you play Flying Bird.
Information kept on your device
The game saves your best score, sound and music settings, a randomly generated player ID, and any display name and two-letter country code you choose. The country is initially suggested from your device language and region settings; the game does not ask for precise location. These values remain on your device until you clear the app's data or uninstall it, except for leaderboard information you choose to submit.
Optional leaderboards
If you enter a display name and play a ranked run, Flying Bird sends your player ID, display name, country code and new ranked best score to our leaderboard service. The service stores these values and the time that best score was reached. Country and world top scores, including names, country codes and scores, are visible to other players. When you open rankings with a named profile, your player ID is sent to retrieve your own rank. Anonymous play does not submit scores or send a player ID when browsing rankings.
Changing to anonymous play creates a new local player ID, but does not remove a previously submitted leaderboard entry. To request removal of an entry, email us using the contact address below and include the displayed name and country so we can locate it. Leaderboard records do not currently expire automatically.
Ads and consent
Flying Bird uses Google AdMob to show banner ads on menu screens and an optional rewarded ad for one continuation after a crash. The Google Mobile Ads service may collect and share data such as your IP address, app interactions, diagnostic information and device identifiers for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. A consent prompt may appear where required before ads are initialized. See Google's Mobile Ads data disclosure and Google's Privacy Policy for details about Google's practices.
How we use and protect information
We use leaderboard submissions to display rankings and respond to support requests you send us. The leaderboard uses an HTTPS connection. No method of internet transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security. We do not sell leaderboard records.
Your choices
You can play anonymously without submitting scores, turn sound and music off, and skip rewarded ads. Clearing app data or uninstalling removes locally saved progress and settings. It does not remove an earlier leaderboard submission. For a leaderboard removal request or a privacy question, contact us below.
Updates
We may update this policy when the app or its services change. The updated version and effective date will appear on this page.
